  I am so relieved to be freed from all this nonsensical surmising about life in paradise earth.

  By nature, I am imaginative and prone toward the fantastical (my obsession with SF literature and movies, I guess). Now, I am such a down-to-earth realist that I wonder what happened to the "old" me.

  yes i will send in my name and when i get to paradise i can tell those that are resurrected, you see that planet there my name is up there.i know it's hard to believe but our buddy adam didn't have a clue what was out there,the poor guy didn't realize there was a large village two miles down the road.. ok maybe i won't make it to paradise but a guy can dream crazy thoughts.....but seriously you can send your name to mars..

  paradisewas it really paradise to be in paradise?adam and eve never were held by a mother, never cuddled and sung to with a lullaby nor nursed or coddled with tenderness or any human familial embrace.

  the first humans (adam and eve) never learned to toddle surrounded by brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles and grandparents cheering them on.

  the entire experience of childhood was excised surgically like a trauma patient awakening from an accident with amnesia.adam and eve were never in a neighborhood with other kids forming friendship bonds for life and exchanging dreams and hopes for a future they were building in their community.

  The Watchtower's Real Crisis

  when discussing the watchtowers financial problems, i've generally been of the opinion that they probably are not in a real financial crisis.

  i've come to believe that money may be something of an issue, but its wrapped up in a much larger problem.

  this came to me this morning when reading about the annual meeting.. i think the society's leadership is just plain out of ideas.

  Running out of money may be connected to running out of ideas in another important way. It's a well known facet of psychology that material difficulty adversely affects cognitive and creative abilities. In other words the stress of money trouble is probably occupying so much of their thoughts that it's difficult to focus on other things, such as producing coherent and interesting content for their literature. -- SBF

  True. While adversity, sorrow, and suffering, are grist for the writer's mill, his empty stomach and inability to pay the rent for his filthy, cold-water garret preoccupy him in the present moment.
